ALL ABOUT STREAMING
Streaming Performance Rights

Stage Rights is pleased to provide a variety of streaming options for many of our plays and musicals. You can Produce a Streaming Show in three ways:

• LIVE STREAMING (live performances streamed at specific show times)

• SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE STREAMING (new productions captured 'on tape' and streamed at specific show times as scheduled content)

• ON-DEMAND STREAMING (new productions captured 'on tape' and streamed for on-demand ticket sales at any time during a specific period of dates)

You can also livestream play readings and concert versions of many of our shows. Let your imagination run wild, and then come and ask us if it’s possible.

Finding the Right Show to Stream

To see the list of shows ready for streaming, go to the SHOWS PAGE and choose the Category “Streaming Rights Available” or "Streaming Rights (Live Only)" and click FIND.

For shows that do not appear on the list, please make the request in the Special Request section on your Application. Some shows can have streaming rights issued on a case-by-case basis, and others require a “live streaming only” performance license.

Once you know the show you’d like to produce and stream to your audience, apply for rights from the show page, answer a few questions, and you’re off to the races. We do need to know what platform you will use: see below for more information on our preferred streaming platforms.

Streaming Platforms

We want to give you the choice of the platform you want to stream from. Every performance must be password protected. Not many of us went into the theater because we’re tech geniuses, so we have to rely on streaming platforms to provide most of our tech. Luckily, there are some incredibly advanced streaming platforms from which you can choose depending on your needs. Each of the following preferred streaming platforms have excellent customer service, easy-to-use interfaces, and tech help to get your started.
