The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards were presented on NBC, hosted by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, who was featured on the recent Hamilton Mixtape.

The show opened with opened with a parody of the songs from the film La La Land, turning the Pasek & Paul lyrics to “City of Stars” into “Roomful of Stars.” With music by Justin Hurwitz, “City of Stars” later won Best Original Song. Pasek & Paul also wrote the score to the new Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.

La La Land also won Golden Globes for Best Actress (Emma Stone), Best Actor (Ryan Gosling), Best Screenplay, Best Direction, and Best Original Score.
