Bernstein On Broadway, with New York
Philharmonic
New York Philharmonic’s annual New Year’s Eve concert is a NYC tradition. This
year’s concert is celebrating the Broadway career of one of the Philharmonic’s
former conductors, Leonard
Bernstein, with a concert that also marks the beginnings of Bernstein’s
centennial year. Selections from On the Town, West
Side Story, and Wonderful
Town will be sung by such Broadway stars as Sunday in the Park
with George’s Annaleigh
Ashford, Hamilton’s Christopher Jackson, Cinderella’s Laura Osnes, and Next to Normal’s Aaron Tveit.
Tickets are available at LincolnCenter.org, but this one is available to those outside New York as well; PBS will broadcast the concert live on TV! Check your local listings at PBS.org.
