Howard Smith, an eccentric archaeologist, is on a quest to find an ancient artifact, which for him could mean the difference between life and death. His reluctant partner, Joel Phillips, is only in it for the money. Their search leads them to a cemetery where they uncover more than they bargained for, including a family curse and a beast unleashed from another dimension.
