When a young girl receives a mysterious package with no return address, an evil force enters the home that turns the quiet household upside down.

SYNOPSIS


The Doll tells the story of Jane Jodzka and Miss O’Reilly, two dutiful caretakers within the home of the beleaguered Colonel Masters.  When young Monica is given a package that mysteriously arrives on their doorstep, an evil force enters the household that turns their quiet world upside down.

Characters:
Miss Jane Jodzka ~ A young, no-nonsense governess who must face the unknown while reconciling with her past.
Miss O’Reilly ~ A strong-willed and outspoken Irish cook, afraid that her superstitious beliefs are all too real.
Colonel Masters ~ A quiet, taciturn taskmaster, whose troubled past comes back to haunt and test him.
Monica Masters ~ A sweet girl who succumbs to the influence of her new doll.
Hilda ~ A dutiful maid who exposes that things are not right in the household.

Jeff Garcia Rack is one of the co-creators and the producing artistic director of Unbound Productions, a Los Angeles-based theatre company whose mission is to adapt literature into new plays. Along with his writing and directing, Jeff has been recognized for his production design work in theatre and film. He is also an actor, magician, special effects artist, ride show designer, graphic artist, filmmaker, and teacher for a Los Angeles film school. He lives with his wife, Christine, in Burbank, California.
