The classic holiday film takes center stage as a heavenly new musical! George Bailey has spent his entire life giving of himself to the people of Bedford Falls and watching his dreams of travel and adventure pass him by. Life has not been kind and with a scandal looming, George plans to end his life on Christmas Eve. Enter Clarence, a guardian angel who shows George what the world would have been like if he’d never been born. George realizes that his life has truly been a wonderful one and he returns to discover the day has been saved through the generosity and Christmas spirit of his friends and family.

Based on the classic film It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle In Bedford Falls tells the story of George Bailey, a man whose life seems picturesque: he married the love of his life, has four young children and runs his own business. However, on Christmas Eve, George encounters severe business difficulties at the Bailey Building and Loan Association. George's Uncle Billy loses the cash they owe the bank, which is owned by the Scrooge-esque Mr. Potter, leading George to contemplate suicide. Fortunately, he is saved at the last moment by the appearance of his guardian angel, Clarence.

Clarence shows George the value of his life by revealing how the world would be without him. It's not pretty; his cheerful, friendly town is dreary and impoverished. Finally, George is convinced and Clarence returns him to the world as if nothing had happened. Returning home, George finds the entire community gathered at his house to support him. All ends on a happy note for George and his family and with a ringing church bell, Clarence earns his wings. Miracle In Bedford Falls features all the lines made famous by the film as well as a brilliant and moving score.

This show is some kind of wonderful!
